Overview
This is the part of parenting that most parents begin to find most difficult. According to Eric Ericson, this is the Identity Vs Role Confusion Stage (12yrs to 18 yrs). Adolescents struggle with questions such as “Who am I” and “What do I want to do with my life.” Research informs us that adolescents no longer begins at 12yrs but a tweenager starts from the age of 9 yrs to 12 yrs, they are no longer a child but not quite a teenager. They are in-between two age groups and their emotions and behavior reflect that.
Tween (10-12yrs) today often shock parents when they begin to act like teenagers. Do not be fooled, they are still children. They often astonish their parents with the ability to conceptualize, to argue brilliantly and then to do foolish things. Most adolescents try different kinds of self to see which ones fit. They explore different roles and ideas, set goals and attempt to discover their adult self.

* This is an intense Boot camp structured for children who are in boarding schools and are available only over the school holiday in April, July, August, November and December.
